Old phone uses new iphone

1 use VS 100's of uses

This benifits institutions as its is:

  • sell films
  • viral marketing
  • cheap marketing
  • you tube marketing
  • high quality pictures can be recorded relatively cheaply
  • horizontal integration - play game on ps4 xbox one and also watch the film on the same device.
  • simultaneuous releases cinemas and streaming on tv
however
  • makes piracy easier
  • reduces cinema audiences

Benifits audiences

  • access anywhere anytime
  • stream cheaply
  • can get films for free
  • more choice on platforms
  • social media allows infomation on upcoming films

Key Words

·         Media audiences play an active role in choosing and using the media.
·         Audiences seek out media texts for specific purposes:

  • ·         INFORMATION

  • ·         PERSONAL IDENTITY

  • ·         INTEGRATION & SOCIAL INTERACTION

  • ·         ENTERTAINMENT

Watching Dumb and Dumber with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels made me laugh with my friends as a social occasion. we all laughed and talked about the film afterwards. I didn't really learn much about personal identity as their wasn't much sense of good and evil as your just laughing at the stupid things they get up to and do with out realizing. I enjoyed the film and it allowed time to pass and i didn't think about any other problems like deadlines at school for the entirety of the film or the social conversations afterwards when discussing it.

A British film is made by passing a cultural test, such as the one below.

This means it may be set on british location, actors, directors, producers, writters and othe aspects of the film. Being Certifed as a british film is good for production companies as they dont have to pay as much UK Tax.
